Online gambling can be fun, and it’s easy to get caught up in the excitement—especially when you have skill, knowledge, or experience. But did you know that even with all that, there’s no guarantee of winning?
It’s true: no matter how much you think you know, or how often you play, there will always be factors outside of your control that can affect whether you win or lose.
Make a budget and stick to it win or lose. Be mindful of promotions and limit or avoid live or in-play bets
Limit how many online gaming accounts you open and make sure they’re licensed by iGaming Ontario (iGO)
Alcohol and drugs can impact decision making—limit or avoid them while placing bets.
Set a time limit, schedule breaks while playing, and focus on activities outside of gambling.
